Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The reviews are electric at TechWorks. The business opened its doors to show off what they do.

Plenty of people explored what's new in what's old at TechWorks! Workshop.

TechWorks! is on Water Street.

There was a presentation by Chuck Goodwin, on the history of Union Endicott's National Champion Solar Electric Car Team.

There were prototypes for kids to see and you could make their own over sized paper clips.

You could even fly a World War 2 Link flight trainer - the first real simulator.

"The teachers are strictly advisers, it was the students that took the task and the problem solving and the math and science and came up with their solution to design these vehicles," says Union Endicott High School teacher, Tom Palazzo.

Palazzo was one of the first students to build one of the electric cars and a student of Goodwin's.

He says he just couldn't stay away and became a teacher to help students do just as he did in High school.

This year, students will make a boat
