Come to downtown Binghamton before the 1 PM July Fest Jazz Concert to savor delicious NY dairy products  SATURDAY, July 13th.

Taste frozen desserts at the COOLEST DESSERT IN TOWN contest

10 AM - 1 PM   Vote for your favorite flavors from Antonio's Cafe, Joey's Italian Ice, Mercer's Wine Ice Cream, Pop's Sugar Shack, Sugar Lips, and Wolfies

11 AM - 12:30PM Learn the BASICS OF CHEESEMAKING with David Bandler, Cornell's emeritus professor of cheese.

Workshop includes sampling cheeses from across New York Sate, and handout on cheese making techniques.

From 10 AM - 1 PM you can also: 

  • explore vintage artifacts from Borden's & Crowley's*
  • pilot a GAT-1, Link's first solid state flight trainer
  • watch a 50 year old IBM mainframe computer do math
  • check out what's happening on Water St from inside a giant camera
