1403-N1 Action Debut May 16, 2015
/On the occasion of the graduation of the second Watson School team, the 1403-N1 printer made its action debut. Under control of the printer controller, the 1403-N1 printed lines 16 characters wide, using two hammer driver cards designed and built by the 1403-N1 team. This achievement represents two years of effort by two teams of Watson School students in collaboration with veterans of IBM Endicott and Lockheed Martin Owego, and Triple ooCities Makerspace.
As of June 2016, additional hammer driver cards have been installed, permitted lines 64 characters wide to be printed.
